How to reach me

When traveling, please be careful not to confuse Louvain-la-Neuve for Leuven, as they are two separate cities. My office is located in the former (Louvain-la-Neuve).

Louvain-la-Neuve is a pedestrian city, which means that cars or public transport are not allowed to run through the city center. If you are arriving by taxy, it is possible that you will be dropped off underground, as roads are located under the city center.

In the city, Google Maps or other navigation apps work poorly. Please account for extra time to navigate when walking through the town.

By train:

  • Set your destination to the station of 'Louvain-la-Neuve’ (about 40min from any central train station in Brussels). Train tickets can be purchased here.

By plane:

  • Fly into Brussels Central (BRU) and take an Uber/Bolt or a taxi (approx 30 min) or a train (approx 80 min)

  • Fly into Charleroi (CRL) and take a taxi (approx 40 min)

By car:

  • This parking lot is about  2 minutes walking from my office and parking is free
